Deadline for Micro- and Nanotechnology Forum
extended
There's still time to sign up to
be a presenter at the ASME Micro- and Nano Society-Wide Forum, which
will take place next month at the Congress. The deadline to submit
an abstract summarizing your major findings has been extended to
Oct. 25.
The new forum, sponsored by ASME's Nanotechnology Institute, is
intended to bring together micro- and nanotechnology researchers
from the Society's Knowledge & Communities and Institutes sectors.
It will take place from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, in the Williford
Room C at the Chicago Hilton and Towers at the ASME International
Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition in Chicago.
The forum aims to showcase and recognize the outstanding contributions
to the micro and nano fields that are being made throughout the
Society including all ASME Divisions, Institutes and Sectors,
according to Raj Manchanda, director of ASME's Emerging Technologies
Department.
If you want to take part in the poster presentation, you now have
until Oct. 25 to submit a 50-word abstract and a one-page PowerPoint-type
slide summarizing your major findings. For more information, visit
