Nanotechnology Conference to Feature Competition for Business Concepts, Projects (3/24/05)

ASME's 100,000 plus strong global membership is invited to share their business concepts and projects in the areas of Devices and Systems at the Nanoscale Phenomena and Nanomanufacturing during this year's Integrated Nanosystems, which will take place Sept. 14-16 at the University of California, Berkeley.

The business concepts that are submitted will be judged by a panel of researchers and practitioners who serve on the ASME Nanotechnology Institute Advisory Board and represent the institute's sponsoring partners.

To enter the showcase, submit a 1-2 page PDF executive summary that addresses your product, market, technology, team and roadmap. Contestants will display a 4-foot x 6-foot poster of their business concept or project during the conference. The deadline to submit is July 15. All contestants must register for the Nanotechnology Commercialization Showcase at $125.

The top five contestants will win cash prizes and an award from the ASME Nanotechnology Institute Advisory Board along with a written critique of the submission from the judging panel of attorneys, scientists and venture capitalists.

Submissions can be made using the same ASME Web tool being used for submitting abstracts. For more information visit http://asmeconferences.org/Nano05/Showcase.cfm.
