ASME Calls for Entries for Annual Facility Recognition Awards (1/14/05)

The Solid Waste Processing Division of ASME is currently accepting nominations for its annual Facility Recognition Awards. All nominations must be submitted by March 7, 2005.

The award nominations will be judged according to contributions made to the field of solid waste processing. Award selections will be based on the following criteria: the facilities success in reaching its goals, innovative and technical contributions to solid waste processing, facility economics, environmental performance and safety, and the facility's role integrated waste management.

Award winners will be announced at the North American Waste-to-Energy Conference (NAWTEC), May 23, 2004, in Orlando, Fla. For more information and nomination forms, contact Anthony Licata, NAWTEC steering committee representative, at (508) 854-3853 or e-mail at tlicata@babcockpower.com.
