Grove City Team Hits the “Streets”
Members of the 2008 ASME Human Powered Vehicle Challenge team from Grove City College in Pennsylvania represented ASME at the Summer Streets event in New York on Aug. 23. The program, which took place on three Saturdays last month, was described by its organizers as “part bike tour, part block party” and was conceived as a way to give residents “unprecedented access to the streets for exercise and exploration.”

Congress Features 450 Sessions
The meeting will take place from Oct. 31–Nov.6 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel and Towers and the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center.
