The ASME Auxiliary awarded Marjorie Rothermel Scholarships to four ASME student members this year.

The scholarships, which are given to mechanical engineering students pursuing their master's degrees, will go to the following students: Patricia Crouse, South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Region VII; Justin Crapps, Mississippi State University, Region XI; Kristyn Jackson, University of Texas at Austin, Region X; and Leslie Oley, Stanford University, Region IX.

One of the Rothermel Scholarships was given in memory of Virginia Clough. Another was awarded in honor of Libby Prochaska, the longtime chair of the Rothermel Scholarship Committee.

At the annual meeting in June, the Auxiliary passed the amendments to the constitution that had been proposed and approved by the National Board last November. Revised copies of the Constitution and Bylaws can be obtained by contacting Carolyn Chenoweth, the chair of the committee, at chenowethj@asme.org, or Debra Smith-Miele, at ASME headquarters, (212) 591-7733. After receiving copies of the revised Constitution, please destroy your old copies.
