Patrick Lynch, a consultant who has built three corporations and is the co-author of "Inside Business," will give the keynote address at ASME's 2004 International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition in November in Anaheim, Calif.

The keynote, "Change, Business Trends, and Personal Development," is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15.

Described as a man devoted to helping people and organizations find ways to release their potential, Lynch will focus on how people can take control and grasp the opportunities change creates.

The topics to be addressed during the keynote include how to empower people to consistently produce extraordinary results; how to build structures that release, rather than restrict, an organization's potential; and how to make change an ongoing process instead of a one-time event.
