Without Borders Partners with ASME
Bringing clean drinking
water and other basic necessities to impoverished areas is the mission
of Engineers Without Borders. Building pathways to get engineers to participate
in these projects recently became part of ASME's leadership efforts for
the 2005 Engineers Week celebration. Students, retired engineers or working
engineers who have an interest in this kind of project should visit www.asme.org
or www.ewb-usa.org to get a list
of the kinds of projects EWB plans to get underway, or to find out how
to suggest a project not on the list.
