Board retreat focuses on changes
brought about by C&C Initiative
The Continuity and Change Initiative and the reorganization of ASME's
key operations were the focus of the Board of Governors' planning retreat,
which took place July 2125 in Quebec.
Through ASME Foundation,
memorial fund offers family, colleagues, a way to honor memory and support
interests
Family, friends and colleagues can choose to honor the memory
of an ASME member by contributing to a memorial fund set up by the ASME
Foundation in the member's name.
Von Flue Medal nominations
now being accepted
The award will be presented at a ceremony at ASME's 2005 International
Mechanical Engineering Congress in November.
ASME/NSBE joint membership
deal offers discounts to new prospects
ASME and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) have signed
a one-year joint membership agreement, which offers a 50 percent discount
to members of each society to join and participate in the other society's
programs.
