The Board on Diversity and Outreach (BDO) is currently soliciting applications for its 2003-2004 Diversity Action Grants (DAG) program.

The DAG program provides funding on a competitive basis to ASME student sections for innovative projects that promote inclusiveness and encourage the participation of women and under-represented minority groups in the student section and in mechanical engineering.

The application deadline for 2003-2004 academic year grants is Nov. 1. Information on the DAG program, as well as an online application and application instructions, may be found at www.asme.org/communities/diversities/bdo/dag.html.

If you have any questions about the program, contact Mary James Legatski in the ASME Washington Center at legatskim@asme.org.
