A Planned Giving Seminar will be held during Congress this month in Washington, D.C. The Nov. 18 meeting should be attended by anyone interested in making more informed decisions about their financial and estate plans.

Steve Imperato, vice president of the Community Counseling Service and an expert on planned giving, will be the guest speaker. He will discuss a variety of giving vehicles and the benefits associated with them. These options include charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, charitable gift annuities, wills and bequests, and wealth replacement trusts. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and talk one-on-one after the presentation.

While reservations are not necessary, they are recommended, Make them by contacting Warren Leonard, the ASME Foundation director of development, at leonardw@asme.org. He will also be able to provide the location of the meeting, which should be finalized shortly.

Those unable to attend the seminar can visit www.foundation.asme.org to get more information about ASME's Planned Giving program.
