Participation in salary survey provides prizes for eight ASME members

For their participation in compiling information for ASME's recently released salary survey, eight members will receive a number of prizes.

The names of the prize winners were selected in a random drawing of approximately 9,000 members who were eligible to win. Prizes were made available by ASME and Abbott, Langer & Associates, the survey publisher.

Jeffery L. Bain, who works for ChemTech Consultants Inc., in Bridgeville, Pa., and Richard A. Gunderson of Billings, Mont., where he is a project engineer at CRE Inc., will each receive a copy of "Compensation in Mechanical Engineering."

A one-year online subscription to an ASME journal of his choice will go to Paul Bourdeau of White Plains, Md.

A copy of Machinery's Handbook will go to Pat Fisseler of Sugar Land, Texas.
Complimentary registration for this year's ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition was won by David Freeburn of Holland, Pa.

Charles Hood of Rock Hill, S.C., was selected to receive a copy of the ASME Engineer's Data Book.

Joel Lenoir of Bowling Green, Ky., will receive a full-color Palm Handheld as well as his choice of one of ASME's 15 Palm software products.

Barry Sloane of Pittsburgh won a copy of Engineering Tomorrow: Today's Technology Experts Envision the Next Century.
