Virtual Campus registrations due

Registration for spring classes and applications for degree programs are due for the ASME Virtual Campus.

The Virtual Campus offers three programs through ASME's academic partners. A master of science degree in mechanical engineering is offered through the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The University of Wisconsin offers a master of engineering in professional practice, while an online MBA and master's in information systems is also offered through the U.S. Open University.

In order to start your program in the spring, summer or fall, you must start the application process for these degree programs now. Remember, the earlier you apply, the better your chances of being accepted.

ASME Virtual Campus also offers certificate (some for graduate credit), credit, and noncredit courses in project management, computing, marketing, management, organization behavior and global issues. This is done through U.S. Open University, Stevens Institute of Technology and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. These courses start in January-February 2002. To make sure you are able to take the class of your choice, register now.

If you have any questions or need more information, contact Thomas Kuehl at kuehlt@asme.org or Kathy J. Warner at warnerk@asme.org. The Web site is located at www.asme.org/asmevirtualcampus.
