Panelists discuss Technology vs. Terrorism In the wake of Sept. 11, ASME held a special plenary session during the International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition. Workshop on aeronautics R&T slated The Aerospace Division scheduled this workshop to bring together members of the scientific and engineering community to review the current near-term and future needs of the nation's aeronautics research and technology enterprise in a host of areas including aviation safety. Registration
for the Congress at highest level in recent years Approximately one month before the Congress's opening, paid registration for this year is ahead of last year's Congress in Orlando by about 20 percent. This year's paid registration is also outpacing registration for the 1999 Congress in Nashville, Tenn., by approximately 45 percent. Read more.
