ASME business meeting in Philly

The next ASME business meeting will take place June 14 during the Summer Annual Meeting at the Marriott Philadelphia Downtown in Philadelphia.

Members of ASME's Nominating Committee will be elected during the business meeting. Committee members, who represent ASME's five sectors for a two-year term, nominate candidates for the offices of ASME president, vice presidents and members of the Board of Governors.

ASME President Harry Armen will call the meeting to order at 5 p.m. After his 2004–2005 State of the Society address, Armen will announce the location and dates of the 2005 International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition and the 2006 Summer Annual Meeting.
