ASME to convene business meeting

The next ASME business meeting will take place June 18 during the Summer Annual Meeting in Atlanta.

Members of ASME's Nominating Committee will be elected during the business meeting. Committee members, who represent ASME's five councils for a two-year term, nominate candidates for the offices of ASME president, vice presidents and members of the Board of Governors.

ASME President Susan H. Skemp will call the meeting to order at 5 p.m. Following her 2002-2003 State of the Society address, Skemp will announce the location and dates of the 2003 International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition and the 2004 Summer Annual Meeting.
