Steam
plant designated a landmark
Eddystone Station Unit #1 — a 325-megawatt, pulverized-coal-fired plant
that pushed the technology of steam-electric generating plants — will become
an ASME Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark this month. The steam plant
was the second U.S. steam-electric generating unit designed for the high
