The Board on Minorities and Women is seeking applications for its 2003-2004 Minority Leadership Internship Program.

MLP internships provide women and under-represented minorities opportunities to become actively involved in Society activities, along with mentoring and leadership opportunities. Each of the five one-year internships pairs the engineer with a mentor and an ASME operating board or committee.

The 2003-2004 class will start their internships at the International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition in Washington in November.

Applications for the 2003-2004 MLP Internships must be submitted by July 15.

The application form, as well as additional information on the MLP internships, may be found at http://www.asme.org/bmw/minorityleadership.html.
