The Board on Minorities and Women (BMW) is seeking nominations for the 2003 BMW Award. This award recognizes an outstanding ASME member who has worked to ensure that ASME is a welcome place for all to participate and who has encouraged inclusiveness and the participation of women and under-represented minorities in ASME.

The award is presented annually at the International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition.

Any member of ASME who has obtained a minimum of associate member status is eligible to be nominated for the BMW Award; however, current members of the Board on Minorities and Women are not eligible for nomination.

The nominator must complete the nomination form, available at http://www.asme.org/bmw/award.html, and include two letters in support of the nomination.

Nominations for the 2003 BMW Award are due by July 31.
