New alliance expands programs at ASME's virtual campus

ASME International formed an alliance with the International Institute for Learning Inc. (IIL) that will enable ASME members to brush up on management skills or learn how to conduct business overseas — at a discount.

The courses and programs available through this alliance will expand the scope of the offerings on ASME's virtual campus. Take a tour of the virtual campus by visiting www.asme.org/asmevirtualcampus.

IIL offers a variety of business training products, courses and consulting services. The company provides electronic executive development and management-training programs.

Through the ASME/IIL alliance, ASME members will receive a 10 percent discount on software courses, such as Project Management Basics (CD-ROM), Project Management IQ (CD-ROM), Project Management IT System and The Project Manager's Toolkit. The last two are available in print and on disk.

Discounts are also offered on video courses, including Accelerated Improvement in Healthcare Quality, Breakthrough Results with Benchmarking, Best Practices for Global Competitiveness, Doing Business in Asia, Doing Busi-

ness in Latin America, Doing Business in Southeast Asia, Internal Benchmarking and Transfering of Best Practices, Knowledge Management, The Strategic Corporate University and The Kerzner Approach to Project Management Excellence, among other titles.

To obtain additional information about what offerings are available, contact Kathy J. Warner at (212) 591-7411 (warnerk@asme.org) or visit www. asme.org/asmevirtualcampus.
