Officer nomination letters are due; e-mail will speed process

Members who are planning to nominate a candidate for an ASME officer position need to submit a letter of intent by March 15. Full proposals for ASME Society offices are due April 15.

The letter of intent is a single-page form that can be downloaded from the Honors and Awards site on www.asme.org/honors.

Once the letter of intent has been completed, it can be transmitted by e-mail. The expedited submission of all nomination materials is recommended to ensure that the Nominating Committee has sufficient time to review the proposed nominee's qualifications before the selection meeting is held at the Summer Annual Meeting in June.

If you have any questions regarding the proposals, please contact Thomas G. Libertiny, Nominating Committee Secretary, at (248) 433-2401 or via e-mail at libertinyt@asme.org, or G.A. DiTullio, staff contact, at (212) 591-7736 or via e-mail at ditulliog@asme.org.
