Chris R. Lanzit, who has more than a decade of experience developing business opportunities in Hong Kong and China, will serve as the executive director of the CSCA Bejing office.

Prior to his hiring, Lanzit served as the regional director of Asia-Integrated Defense Systems for the Boeing Co.'s Hong Kong office. In that position, he was responsible for business development and customer support for defense systems and commercial communications satellite systems in the Asia region.

Liu Fei will serve as the director of operations for the ASME-led Consortium. He was most recently a commercial specialist in the Trade Facilitation Office of the Embassy of the United States in China.

In that position, he was responsible for creating programs in standards, logistics, legal affairs, intellectual property and assisting U.S. businesses in settling standards and trade disputes.

During a visit to ASME headquarters in January, the two met with several departments including Codes and Standards.
