The deadline for the submission of applications for the ASME Scholarships is March 15 each year. For more information about what is available, how to get an application and where to send it, visit www.asme.org/education/enged/aid/scholar.htm.

The following additional revisions to the bylaws of the ASME Auxiliary were passed at the National Board Meeting in November 2004.

Under Article III, Section 2, after the words "Nominating Committee," add: shall appoint Auxiliary members to serve on the Clarke Scholarship Committees.

Under Article III, Section IV, the current text should be replaced with the following: The Recording Secretary shall record the minutes of all meetings and shall, in cooperation with the president, establish a schedule for the review of a draft of the minutes and for their final preparation so that the minutes can be sent promptly to ASME headquarters for distribution. The Recording Secretary shall be the custodian of the records and the corporate seal.

Please revise your copy of the bylaws to reflect these changes. Additional changes will be published in later articles.
