ASME Press publishes FEA guide

A new book from ASME Press, "Introductory Guide to Finite Element Analysis," is intended to provide readers with a relatively simple, but complete, approach to finite element theory and applications.

The book, by A.A. Becker, is written specifically for engineers and scientists who want to understand the fundamental theory of finite element analysis (FEA) and learn how to analyze practical problems using FEA software.

No prior knowledge of finite element theory or FEA software packages is needed to use this book effectively.

The 176-page "Introductory Guide to Finite Element Analysis," ASME order No. 802051, is $64 for ASME members and $79 for nonmembers.

To order, contact ASME Information Central at (800) 843-2763 or (973) 882-1167, or visit www.asme.org/pubs/asmepress.
