Barbara Goldstein, corresponding secretary for the ASME Auxiliary, is putting together an e-mail database that is to include the e-mail addresses of all ASME Auxiliary members. If you have an e-mail address, please send it to Barbara at bfg@net-info.com.

In other Auxiliary news, Dorothy Landwaard resigned as a reader on the Rice-Cullimore Scholarship Committee. She has been replaced by Janna Collins, the daughter of Anna Lou Fall, who recently resigned as the auxiliary's parliamentarian. As reported in last month's column, Donna Simoneau is the new parliamentarian.

During this year — the Auxiliary's 80th year of existence — a membership drive has been initiated by Benetta Cook, the membership expansion chairman. She has been sending applications to various ASME members, extending an invitation to them to join the Auxiliary to help support our scholarship endeavors.

We hope to bring in 80 new members. So far, we have gotten 25 new members, some of them life members. The cost for a regular annual membership is $10 per year. A life membership only requires a one-time payment of $100. We welcome all ASME members wishing to support our efforts to join the ASME Auxiliary.
