March 15 is the deadline again for submitting applications for the Auxiliary Scholarships, except for the Clarke Scholarships, which go to mechanical engineering departments to be awarded to high school students.

We will be giving some scholarships this year, although not as many because the stock market has not seemed to recover much yet.

For those of you looking for Auxiliary speakers for the regional meetings in the spring, please e-mail Myrna Zamrik at Lizdoodle1@aol.com or call her at (480) 985-8949.

Those wishing to get the materials, which are used in the presentation so that someone else can present them, should also contact Myrna at the above locations.

The information usually takes no more than 10 minutes to present. An overhead or a computer program that uses a projection screen is all that is needed for this presentation.

Any Auxiliary member wishing to make this presentation at a regional meeting should also contact Myrna, as she appreciates having volunteers instead of having to search for them. It is also good public speaking experience for those not used to doing it.
