ASME's Web site, ASME.ORG, recorded 304,000 user sessions for January, the highest monthly number ever tallied. Of that number, 78,292 were counted for the last week of the month. This number was up from 74,982 during the third week of the month. The first week of February accounted for a record 79,273 user sessions.

The most accessed page was the ASME.ORG home page, followed by Publications, Codes and Standards, the Catalog, the Career Center, the Download Library, Education, Membership, Technical Divisions and Events.

"This order is fairly typical for an average month," said Denman Wall, director of new media. "Our visitors consistently let us know, as evidenced by the consistency in the most popular pages, that they want ASME publications, assistance with their careers, to learn more about engineering, and to feel like they are a part of a community of mechanical engineers."

Wall said that while much of the feedback is from members, a large portion is from nonmembers who are looking for ASME goods and services.

Using feedback forms, Wall said, "Users have let us know that we have taken some positive steps toward a more user-friendly Web site and they appreciate our high-quality content."
