Techniques for heat exchangers

Noting that "few engineers possess the skills to rate all types of heat exchangers" for all kinds of applications, Michael J. Nee wrote a book to guide them.

"Heat Exchanger Engineering Techniques: Process, Air Conditioning and Electronic Systems" addresses criteria for units that must be built, assembled, shipped, and installed. But, energy usage, noise, ease of cleaning, weight, and flow distribution also have to be considered.

Nee's guidance in the 360-page ASME Press book (Order No. 801675) is based on 46 years of work with heat transfer equipment as a mechanical engineer.

The book is $96 for ASME members, $120 for nonmembers. To order, call (973) 882-1167, (800) 843-2763 or order online at http://www.asme.org/catalog/.
