Online review for P.E. exam

A live, online review course for those planning to take the Professional Engineer exam is being offered by ASME's Professional Development Department.

PE Online Live is a new review course that runs on your computer. Connection to this interactive live program can be made with e-mail access. The 10-week course is being offered in conjunction with Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn.

This course will run on Tuesdays, Aug. 14 through Oct. 16, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EST, just in time for the October P.E. exam. Instructors from Fairfield University will teach each module.

The topics to be covered include Stress Analysis and Structural Deformation, Machine Design, Power Cycles and Heat Transfer, HVAC, Refrigeration, and Controls and System Modeling.
