New officers begin terms of service during Summer Annual Meeting

During the Summer Annual Meeting last month, several people began their terms as ASME officers.

Terms of service began for three people elected as members-at-large for the Board of Governors. They are William T. Cousins, Dirk F. Dauw, P.E.; and Robert J. Simoneau, P.E.

SAM also marked the inception of terms for several vice presidents. Those elected to serve are: S. Dyer Harris, P.E., for Region III; Leonard A. Anderson, P.E., for Region V; Douglas R. Brown for Region X; Robert E. Luna, P.E., for Region XII; Richard O. Buckius for Basic Engineering; Lawrence A. Kielasa, P.E., for Energy Conversion; John G. Yost, P.E., for Performance Test Codes; Vincent Wilczynski for Pre-College Education; David F. Kokot, P.E, for Professional Practice; Marc W. Goldsmith, P.E., for Public Information; Richard T. Jacobsen, P.E., for Research, and Ram G. Narula, P.E., for Standardization.
