ASME's 125th anniversary spurs Club's giving goal

The Archimedes Club has a new goal — to recruit 125 Founding Members by Congress 2005.

The Drive for 125 was approved by the ASME Foundation's board of directors during last month's Summer Annual Meeting.

Recruiting 125 Founding Members is in recognition of ASME's pending 125th anniversary next year. In approving the new goal, the board extended the deadline for members to become Founding Members of the Archimedes Club by 12 months.

Currently, 42 members of ASME have made planned gifts that recognize them as Founding Members.

For a list of those Founding Members and for information about how to become one and support the future of engineering with membership in the Archimedes Club, visit www.foundation.asme.org.
