Applauding the American Spirit

 

I was very pleased to read the article, "ASME teams up with Engineers Without Borders in humanitarian effort to design water supply system,"in the May issue of ASME NEWS.

At a time when the reputation of America has been sullied by unilateral use of force and unsavory actions in other countries, it is nice to see an article that shows the true American spirit, where our citizens help others in need.

I am very proud of the students who worked on the water-treatment project in Rwanda.
