The ASME Auxiliary needs a new editor for its newsletter, "Pipeline," which comes out in the spring and in the fall.

Susan Hawthorne has been editor of the "Pipeline" for many years. But since the death of her husband, she feels unable to continue this task. She will serve as student loan chairman, replacing Janet Watson who is becoming the Auxiliary's treasurer. Janet is replacing Lynn Gerber as treasurer, as Lynn will become executive vice president.

I know this sounds like a great deal of shifting around, but that happens sometimes.

If anyone is interested in taking over the task of editing, producing and mailing the newsletter, please contact Myrna Zamrik at (814) 238-2188 or (480) 985-8949. Myrna's e-mail is lizdoodle@aol.com.

We really do need a volunteer before the fall issue is due out, so if you are at all interested, please contact Myrna as soon as possible. A desktop publishing program for a computer is required to produce the newsletter. I hope this request will bring forth someone who wishes to become a member of the National Board of the ASME Auxiliary and will help us to continue to provide scholarships for worthy mechanical engineering students.
