New online courses set in Spanish, English

New ASME course material will be available online in September, in both English and Spanish. The deadline to register for the online courses is Sept. 8. They begin Sept. 15.

Course registrants will have access to an online glossary of engineering terms used in several Latin American countries and their English counterparts.

The six new courses offered in Spanish are: Introducción a la Soldadura; Layouts de Tuberías y Equipos de Proceso; Código ASME B 31.4; Inspección Basado en Riesgo; Reparación y Alteración de Recipientes a Presión, and Mantenimiento de Recipientes a Presión.

Seven new courses will also be offered online in English. They are: Finite Element Analysis; Y14.41 Digital Product Definition Data Practices; Blueprint Reading; Advanced GD&T; Mechatronics; Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning; and Machine Design.
