The Research and Development Exposition (R&D Expo) will replace the traditional exhibit at ASME's International Mechanical Engineering Congress this year in New Orleans.

The Expo will be a separate event that is scheduled concurrently with the Congress.
The participating exhibitors include All Sensors Corp., Amtec Engineering, Corning Intellisense Corp., EDS, Lawrence Berkeley Labs, Magnetic Moments and Ocean Optics.
EDS is the flagship sponsor.

"The Expo exhibitors will be available to all Congress attendees who are interested in technological advances," said Thomas Loughlin, managing director of Engineering. "The Expo will be a place where professionals can meet to discuss new technology, network, and ultimately form partnerships."

Although R&D Expo is sponsored by ASME, it will be co-produced by ASME and Unicomm, a manager of exhibits and conferences.

This new format will better match the needs of attendees and exhibitors. For more details, visit www.rdexpo.com.
