Space Forum in Albuquerque Is Next Month

Here's a quick reminder: The Space Technology and Applications International Forum, which comprised of six concurrent space-related conferences, takes place next month. The event, which is managed by the University of New Mexico's Institute for Space and Nuclear Power Studies. will be held from Feb. 10–14 at the Hotel Albuquerque in Albuquerque, N.M.

The Space Technology and Applications International Forum (STAIF) brings together high-level representatives from industry, government, and academia from across the globe to discuss issues related to space commercialization, exploration, and the potential for performing scientific research and developing new technologies.

STAIF is produced in cooperation with ASME, the American Astronautical Society, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the Professional Aerospace Contractors Association.

This year, STAIF will incorporate the following conferences and symposia: the 12th Conference on Thermophysics Applications in Microgravity, the First Symposium on Space Resource Utilization, the 25th Symposium on Space Nuclear Power and Propulsion, the Sixth Conference on Human/Robotic Technology and the Vision for Space Exploration, the Sixth Symposium on Space Colonization, and the Fifth Symposium on New Frontiers and Future Concepts.

Registration is $665 for full registration and $435 for one day. Students may attend the forum for $235.
