Dates and Locations in Place for 2008 HPV Challenges

The dates and locations for three ASME 2008 Human Powered Vehicle Challenges (HPVC) have been set. The two U.S. Challenges will take place in Nevada and Wisconsin this April, while a third competition is slated for Venezuela in September.

The first Human Powered Vehicle Challenge, HPVC West, is scheduled for the University of Nevada, Reno from April 18–20. The second U.S. event, HPVC East, will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, April 25–27.

And for the second year, a Human Powered Vehicle Challenge event has been set for Venezuela. The HPVC Latin America competition will take place in Maracaibo, Venezuela, from Sept. 2–4.
