ASME member Ram Madugula, P.E., has been promoted to vice president at Sargent & Lundy LLC. Madugula is a project director in Sargent & Lundy's Fossil Power Technologies group with responsibility for the direction of advanced generation technologies in areas such as integrated gasification combined cycle. He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He has been a member of ASME since 2000, and is a past chair of the Combined Cycle Committee.
