One of the goals of Engineers Week each year is to help connect engineers
with students in grades K12 in an effort to encourage the students
to pursue an education in engineering after graduating high school.

To help you prepare for the upcoming P.E examination, ASME has set up
a new study group in its Community of Practice area of ASME.ORG.
ASME Student Sections receive
DAG Awards for 2006-07
Twenty-three ASME Student Sections have been awarded a total of $25,600
in grants through the Diversity Action Grant (DAG) Program.
Micro and Nano Forum will return
to 2007 Congress
The forum, which was sponsored by ASME's Nanotechnology Institute, brought
together micro- and nanotechnology researchers from the Society's Institutes
and Knowledge and Communities sectors.
Old Guard Early Career Engineering
Award deadline nears
Nominations are now being accepted for the Old Guard Early Career Engineering
Award, which recognizes outstanding early career engineers who actively
involve themselves in their profession, their communities, and the work
of the Society.
