Nano Institute invites extended participation

ASME's Nano Institute would like to involve more engineers, researchers and scientists who will drive future programming and participate in the planning of activities, such as nano Webcasts and conference tracks.

The institute plans to organize committees that will concentrate on different aspects of the nanotechnology field. Those areas include nanomaterials and integration instruments; theory and computations; MEMS for nanointegration and nanoexploration; information, chemical and bioanalytical systems; and energy conversion devices and systems.

Anyone who is interested in participating or knows of someone who would be, should contact Raj Manchanda, director of Advanced Technology Programs at ASME. He can be reached at (212) 591-7789 or by e-mail at nano@asme.org.
