Recruitment continues to increase

The recruitment campaign ASME started in August has brought in a total of $8,480 as of Nov. 30 and for the entire month of November raised $2,480.

Through this campaign, 50 percent of a new member's first-year dues will be given to scholarships for mechanical engineering students. To participate, new members must be recruited by an ASME member.

A total of 76 new members have joined since the program began, 49 of whom enrolled in November as a result of this drive.

Overall, 176 members have taken part in this program by sponsoring a new member.
