ASME hosts second Bioengineering Technology Seminar in June

ASME will hold its Second Annual Bioengineering Technology Seminar from June 14-16 in Charlotte, N.C., at the Hilton Charlotte and Towers. Last March, ASME offered its first Bioengineering Technology Seminar in Oregon.

This year's seminar will feature six concurrent courses. In addition to biomaterials and artificial organs, other courses that will be offered during the event will cover sports injuries, design and rehabilitation, Food and Drug Administration inspections, and cardiovascular systems.

Each course is three days in length and is worth 2.25 continuing education units (CEUs).

Registration for the seminar is $1,295 for ASME members, $1,445 for nonmembers.

Registration is $1,095 for ASME member academics, $1,245 for nonmember academics.

Following the bioengineering seminar, on June 17, there will be a plant tour at the University of North Carolina Charlotte campus.
