Energy issues, solutions discussed at
Tallahassee Town Hall meeting
A broad range of energy issues will be the subject
of the 2nd Annual Engineers Week Town Hall Meeting on Feb.19, hosted
by ASME's Tallahassee section.
"Florida's Energy Needs: The Role of Technology"
will be televised on WFSU. The meeting will address several energy issues
facing Florida, and many other states: power generation and transmission,
power and energy education, renewable energy sources and energy efficiency,
and fuels and natural resources.
The 90-minute program will be held at the Florida State University Center
for Professional Development (Turnbull Conference Center) in the Everglades
Auditorium, at 555 W. Pensacola St. in Tallahassee. There is no charge
for the event.
