C&S panel to play role in Fuel Cell program

The International Conference on Fuel Cell Science, Engineering and Technology will include a panel session on recent codes and standards initiatives that support the development of the hydrogen infrastructure necessary for fuel cell applications.

Mechanical Engineering magazine will be the Premier Media Sponsor for the event.
Representatives of ASME's new Hydrogen Steering Committee will participate in the one-day panel session, which will take place during the fuel cell conference April 21-23 in Rochester, N.Y.

The mission of the committee, established in November 2002, is to identify ASME Codes and Standards that are, or would be, useful for hydrogen infrastructure and fuel cell applications, assess additional ASME codes and standards actions, and coordinate development activities with other standards developers and organizations.

Hydrogen Steering Committee members represent ASME, industry, academia and government agencies.

Registration for the fuel cell conference is $475 prior to March 10, $525 afterward.
