Proposed ASME changes detailed; member attendance urged
ASME has scheduled four General Assembly meetings to explain in detail the proposals from the Continuity and Change initiative that were presented last month in Washington, D.C., to the Board of Governors and those attending ASME's 2003 Congress.

The Diversity and Outreach Award, established in 1996, is presented by the ASME Board on Diversity and Outreach to an outstanding member of ASME in recognition of that person's work to make ASME a welcome place for all to participate, and to encourage inclusiveness and the involvement of women and under-represented minorities in the Society.
