ASME takes top publishing award

Mechanical Engineering magazine was awarded the 2003 Ozzie Gold Award for Best Media Kit Design in the Association/Nonprofit category, beating out such organizations as the National Rifle Association.

The award, which was presented in October, is one of several that are given annually by Folio:.

The 2003 Media Guide, "the eyes, ears and voice of industry," is a 24-page communication to engineering and marketing executives that distinguishes Mechanical Engineering magazine from other magazines now in the marketplace.

Winners are determined by comparing the judges' evaluations of each title's fulfillment of its mission, the quality of its content, and its overall design and production.
