Condensers and Auxiliary Equipment," is for use by industries that
frequently need to idle equipment.
Code addresses fuel cell efficiency
Performance Test Code 50 is the result of the efforts by an ASME technical
committee that, six years ago, recognized the need to develop fuel cell
standards.
New IGTI managing director named
Don H. Greene, P.E., who is a Certified Association Executive, joined
ASME last month as the new managing director of the Society's International
Gas Turbine Institute (IGTI).
Former ASME President Kotnick
dies
George Kotnick, PE, who served as ASME president during 1984-85, died
last month in Media, Pa., where he lived. He was 83.
Tien, former Berkeley chancellor
and long-time member, succumbs
Tien was a Fellow and an Honorary Member of ASME. He joined the Society
in 1964 and was a member of the San Francisco Section.
