Registration Deadline Nears: CANEUS conference begins this month

Time is running out for those wanting to register for the CANEUS (Canada-Europe-United States Organization for Aerospace Applications) Conference on Micro- and Nanotechnology (MNT) for Aerospace Applications. The meeting begins Aug. 27.

The conference, the world's foremost international forum devoted to MNT development for aerospace applications, will run through Sept. 1 at the Centre De Congres Pierre Baudis in Toulouse, France.

The event is sponsored by CANEUS, ASME, and France's Centre National de Recherche Technologique Aéronautique Espace. Other strategic partners for the event include Aerospace Valley France, the Center for Large Space Structures and Systems, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, France, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

The conference format was designed to provide each participant with maximum exposure to exciting developments in the areas of: emerging MNT concepts, MNT system development, mature systems and sub-systems, end-user needs and perspectives, investment perspectives and roadmaps, and governmental policies affecting the coordinated joint-international development of aerospace MNT.

Full conference registration is 895 Euros (approximately $1,140 U.S.) for members of ASME and cooperating societies, and 995 Euros ($1,270 U.S.) for nonmembers. Full-time students may register for 600 Euros ($765 U.S.). Separate registration is also available for the conference, workshop, and short courses.
