ASME's Nanotechnology Institute is putting together a special forum
to bring together micro- and nanotechnology researchers from the Society's
Knowledge & Communities and Institutes sectors.
First Chinese manufacturer receives
Section III certification
In June, Shanghai Boiler Works Ltd. (SBWL) became the first manufacturer
in China to obtain nuclear accreditation under Section III of the ASME
Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, a code that sets technical standards
for the design and construction of items used in nuclear power plant
facilities.
ASME to launch new medical
devices journal
"The Journal of Medical Devices" will provide special coverage
of novel devices that allow new surgical strategies, new methods of
drug delivery, or possible reductions in the complexity, cost, or adverse
results of health care.
