UEF centennial celebrated


The United Engineering Foundation recently celebrated its centennial with a banquet at the National Academy of Engineering in Washington, D.C., where NAE President William Wulf (center) presented a citation to David Belden (third from left), executive director of the UEF. Also present at the event were UEF Board of Trustee members (from left) ASME Past President Reginald Vachon; Joel Snyder, past president of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers; Daniel Senese, executive director of IEEE; Patrick Natale, executive director of the American Society of Civil Engineers; and Virgil Carter, ASME's executive director.
