ASME Continuing Education Institute begins training voucher program

ASME has started a new educational program designed for businesses that provide continuing education opportunities for their employees. The ASME Corporate Training Voucher program can assist companies that pre-enroll in ASME short courses by offering a saving of up to 35 percent off the standard registration fee.

Businesses know that ASME courses provide up-to-date training on the application of ASME codes and standards and other technical subjects, which span a wide range of industries. All Society short courses are taught by qualified engineering and technical experts, and provide easy-to-apply principles for immediate application in the workplace.

ASME short courses have additional benefits as well. For instance, course-goers will have the opportunity to get answers to their questions directly from the experts teaching the seminars. Attendees will also have the chance to network with peers attending the courses and to receive codebooks they can take with them for on-the-job reference.

To receive discount savings, companies must purchase vouchers in sets of 10, 20, 30 or 50. Each voucher is good for one day of training per person. For example, businesses may wish to send a group of 10 employees to a one-day course, or five people to a two-day course. Corporate Training Vouchers can be used for any short course offered by the ASME Continuing Education Institute.

To purchase Corporate Training Vouchers or inquire about flexible options, contact ASME Information Central, (800) 843-2763 or (973) 882-1167, or visit the ASME Continuing Eduction Institute Web page, www.asme.org/education/cei.htm.
